Aboyne Games Contributions

On behalf of the Men's Shed a call for contributions to our bottle stall at the Aboyne Games. The Men's Shed have booked a stall at the Aboyne Games for Saturday the 3rd August. The intent is to hold a bottle stall lucky dip comprising alcohol, variety of soft drinks, toileteries and anything reasonable that will attract folk to buy a ticket.

This event has been very successful attracting loads of folk and raising needed funds for the Men's Shed with the bonus of good publicity, meeting folk and having a fun day.

Given it is now July and only about 5 weeks to go we are inviting contributions for bottles and other donations. Please take this as a call for help and dig out the back of your cupboards, (unopened bottles only). Money donations are also very acceptable so we can go to the Co-op and purchase.

To contribute we can collect from your home, bring to the workshop open days (Tues pm,Thur pm or Sat am ) alternatively reply to Colin Paterson, Chief Stall Collector as below. We are aware of your past generosity without which we could not participate.
In addition we will display items we can make to order in the workshop and a booklet of the many Comissions already completed to attract further orders.

Past years at the Games stall have been hugely successful and we can assume 2023 will be too.
Offers to help on the day will also be very welcome.
