Aboyne & District Men’s Shed  is officially registered with the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR). Being a Registered Charity brings with it certain very important responsibilities. We need to be well organised, with sound procedures and audited accounts, good governance, and Annual Reports open to public scrutiny. There are also key benefits. It ensures we conduct our affairs in a business-like fashion, makes us eligible for certain tax concessions, and reassures Funding Bodies that we are competent, legally compliant and – above all- worthy of their support.
